CBD FLOWER

What is it..

CBD flowers are buds from hemp plants, they contain high amounts of CBD and very low amounts of THC, they look and smell very similar to cannabis buds which are famous for the psychoactive ingredient that produces the high.. Although CBD can be derived from Cannabis buds, the amount of CBD they contain is a lot lower compared to the CBD produced in hemp buds, so the type of plant that the buds come from will determine the amount of CBD that the buds will contain.

Selective hemp and cannabis plant breeding programs ensure specific characteristics of flowers, such as being high in CBD and low in THC.

CBD Flowers are covered in tiny crystal-like structures called trichomes, the trichomes are the primary sites where cannabinoids such as CBD and THC are synthesised and stored.

After CBD flowers are harvested, they are dried and cured, following this, a lot of people tend to smoke them, but CBD can come in many different forms, and there are many other methods to consume the CBD such as a vaporised liquids, oil based capsules, food, drinks (cooking), patches, sprays, vapes, tinctures and a rage of skin care products like body lotions, creams and body oils.

A CBD prescription is considered an effective anti-seizure medication and it's also being studied as a treatment for a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, diabetes, multiple sclerosis and anxiety.

"For anyone wishing to try CBD or Hemp products, we would advise you to do your research into finding a reputable supplier as even a lot of CBD products on the shelfs do not contain what is stated on the bottle"
